Kurt and Courtney: Breaking Down the Suicide

It's hard to believe the amount of biased sites fooling their readers about Kurt's death. It's amazing to me just how blind these people are. Absolutely no evidence points at Courtney Love AT ALL and that's one of the many reasons why I am writing about this...again. Not everyone likes Courtney. You don't have to like her. Sure, she's a dope fiend OH MY GAWD! Have you forgotten that Kurt Cobain was a dope fiend as well? Stop pointing all the fingers solely on her. Your musical 'hero' was not perfect. In this piece I have evidence proving that Kurt Cobain killed himself along with pieces of interviews from individuals that 'claim' to be involved. I also have provided Kurt and Courtney's history. This is a subject matter I have been studying in documentaries and several books for years. No I was not there at the time of the crimes. I didn't actually know the people involved. I just pay attention to the facts like I do in any case and I have come to the conclusion (like many others) that Courtney had no involvement. I cannot shake everyone's opinion on it, think what you want. This is simply just my opinion, along with doctors and friends of the two.

Lets start with the level of morphine in Kurt's blood. Kurt's autopsy was never made public, it's illegal. The toxicology report is private and only Kurt's family is allowed to ask for copies. Kurt's wife, father, mother, sister, half-siblings, step mother and step siblings believe Kurt commited suicide, and these people have access to the autopsy report. They have claimed that 1.52 mg/l of morphine was found in Kurt's blood. Or so the Seattle Post claims, even though they didn't have access to his report. Tom Grant likes to argue that with this amount of heroine in his system, there is no way that he could of picked up a gun and shot himself. WRONG. Several different studies on heroin use have noted the difficulty in pinpointing the level of heroin that an addict can tolerate. In 2004, Dateline NBC questioned medical examiners about the figure from the toxicology report. The examiners noted the possibility that Cobain could have built up enough of a tolerance through repeated usage to have been able to pull the trigger himself. the actual medical examiner involved in this case proved this as well. The theory of Kurt being sedated with diazepam in order to be murdered is nuts too: Kurt was in rehab and his doctor says he was given Valium there (which is diazepam). This drug stays for days in the system (5 days). Last time Kurt was given valium was April 1st, he died April 5th (do the math).

Next, they tried to claim there was a lack of fingerprints at the scene of the crime. WRONG! There were fingerprints at the scene. This comes frm official reports and I have the actual reports down below:
- shell: a latent print card was lifted
- casing: a latent print card was lifted
- red print: no legible prints
- shotgun: 4 cards of latent prints were lifted

6 cards of prints were lifted from the scene. Authorities explained the prints were not legible because of excessive sweat (common in suicide cases because the victim gets really nervous) and because of the movement the shotgun makes when fired (the friction makes the prints illegible).

As for the myth that Kurt Cobain didn't write a suicide note, WRONG AGAIN! The real note was examined by a forensic document examiner of the Washington State Patrol. She determined that "The note, item 1, was written by Kurt Cobain". She's the only person in the entire world who has examined the real note. Other experts were given photocopies of a fax, really bad quality. They said the last lines might have been written by a different person but they needed the real note (it's the only way to know how the traces were done). In my opinion, even IF the bottom of the note looks sloppy, the man just injection a shit load of heroine into his system. Are you really going to argue about his handwriting? It's known that people under the influence can't write properly. A photo of his suicide note is down below.

I don't believe any DNA evidence was collected from the scene, which was bulldozed a short time later, after Kurt was cremated also, taking the body and the scene out of the investigative picture. Many of Cobain's friends even believed Kurt had killed himself. A friend of his being interviewed in the documentary film Kurt and Courtney claimed that he completely believes it was a suicide. Before Kurt's suicide, he attempted to commit suicide in Rome and Courtney actually saved him. People seem to forget this or try to block it out of their head for some reason. Kurt was diagnosed with bronchitis and severe laryngitis. He flew to Rome for medical treatment, and was joined there by Courtney on March 3, 1994. The next morning, Courtney awoke to find that Kurt had overdosed on a combination of champagne and Rohypnol. Kurt was immediately rushed to the hospital, and spent the rest of the day unconscious. After five days in the hospital, Kurt was released and returned to Seattle.  Courtney later stated that the incident was Kurt's first suicide attempt. It's no secret that Kurt was not happy with his life. Because of his medical conditions, it caused him to do heroine non-stop. Courtney and friends reached out to him to get help but he couldn't stop. It was the only thing that made him feel better due to the pain he was in. Not to mention, he hated the famous life. In home videos and interviews of Kurt, he goes on to say that he misses the simple life and having to save up money to buy records. He hated the star treatment.

On March 18, 1994, Courtney phoned Seattle police informing them that Kurt was suicidal and had locked himself in a room with a gun. Police arrived and confiscated several guns and a bottle of pills from Kurt, who insisted that he was not suicidal and had locked himself in the room to hide from Courtney. When questioned by police, Courtney said that Kurt had never mentioned that he was suicidal and that she had not seen him with a gun. That may be the strangest thing about this whole ordeal, that particular incident. Finally, Kurt had agreed to undergo a detox program. He arrived at the Exodus Recovery Center in Los Angeles, California on March 30, 1994. The staff at the facility were unaware of Cobain's history of depression and prior attempts at suicide. He spent the day talking to counselors about his drug abuse and personal problems, and playing with his daughter Frances. These interactions were the last time she would see her father. The following night, Kurt walked outside to have a cigarette, and climbed over a six-foot-high fence to leave the facility (which he had joked earlier in the day would be a stupid feat to attempt). After it became aware that Kurt was missing, Courtney hired private investigator aka piece of shit, Tom Grant. Tom Grant would later go against Courtney and still tries to prove Courtney killed Kurt but fails in every way. His pitiful website has recorded phone conversations of Courtney that prove absolutely nothing. After listening to the conversations, I wonder if this guy is mentally unbalanced. I have no idea where he gets the idea that she is guilty from these conversations. I think people who believe Courtney was involved just have so much animosity towards her, it causes them to be blinded by the truth. Some don't want to accept the truth.

On April 8, 1994, Kurt's body was discovered at his Lake Washington home by an electrician who had arrived to install a security system. Apart from a minor amount of blood coming out of Kurt's ear, the electrician reported seeing no visible signs of trauma, and initially believed that Cobain was asleep until he saw the shotgun pointing at his chin. Kurt's body had been lying there for days; the coroner's report estimated Cobain to have died on April 5, 1994. Dave Reed, who for a short time was Kurt's foster father, said that "he had the desperation, not the courage, to be himself. Once you do that, you can't go wrong, because you can't make any mistakes when people love you for being yourself. But for Kurt, it didn't matter that other people loved him; he simply didn't love himself enough. " At the public ceremony for Kurt, Courtney read the suicide note and kept commenting that Kurt was an ass hole. People found that behavior to be weird. Why? Her husband just killed himself leaving her and their daughter behind. I would be cursing my husband had he done the same. Are you kidding me? I'd call him more than an ass hole for being so selfish.

Now I am going to talk about the documentary film "Kurt and Courtney." The film is a 1998 documentary film by Nick Broomfield investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Kurt Cobain, and allegations of Courtney Love's involvement in it. The only thing this film had pointing a finger at Courtney was her father, who had drug problems for years so his opinion shouldn't count, and a retarded man named El Duce, who had severe mental disorders so his opinion shouldn't count. At the very end Broomfield explains that after his investigation, he doesn't believe that Courtney killed Kurt. As for this El Duce character, lets take a closer look at him and his accusations. Nicknamed El Duce, he was best known as the drummer and lead singer of the self-described "rape rock" band The Mentors. If you haven't seen their videos, you simply must because it shows just how mental and sadistic this sad and ugly individual is. It happens to be the worst music I have ever heard. I mean, read the lyrics. El Duce claimed that Courtney attempted to offer him 50 thousand dollars to kill Kurt Cobain and make it look like a suicide. Even Broomfield pointed out his mental issues and said that his word couldn't be taken seriously.  Why would Courtney choose El Duce of all people? That doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't she use someone who actually knew what they were doing and fully capable? I don't believe anyone took this man seriously except for Tom Grant, who I believe also has mental issues.

A week after this so called incident, El Duce's body was found near a railroad. It was determined that he had stumbled in front of a train and was hit. Music journalist and friend of Duce, Al Bowman said: "There is something very, very strange about his death. Anybody who knew El knew that you could make friends with him by offering to buy him a drink. He had a problem with alcohol." When asked if he thought El Duce was suicidal he replied: “No way. He was all exited about his upcoming tour. He was in good spirits. He didn't kill himself. I'm convinced this has something to do with Kurt Cobain." Wow, so this guy is another amazing character. How do you try to say this may or may not of been a suicide? People accidentally get hit by trains all the time and the man was often indisposed. DIRKIDUR! And I seriously doubt Courtney pulled strings to have someone throw him in front of a train. Come on now. Think about it.

As for Courtney's father. This is what the man is really like. He was a publisher and briefly a road manager for the The Grateful Dead, and, at five years old, she was featured on the back of the Grateful Dead's third album, Aoxomoxoa, sitting under a tree among the band members and various roadies and musicians. Her parents filed for a divorce shortly thereafter, and it was alleged in court that Harrison had fed LSD to Love when she was three years old. The trial concluded with full custody being awarded to Love's mother.  This is just a fraction of what this man is like.

As for the credit card ordeal, it proves nothing. They claim that one of his cards was missing when his body was discovered.  Someone was attempting to use the missing card after his death and stopped after his body was discovered. Do we know if Courtney was the one using this card? If so, that would make sense since she was in fact his WIFE! Dumb ass. I have to say the credit card thing strikes me as irrelevant, the very fact that it was used after his death but then abandoned once his body was discovered suggests that whoever had it didn't know he was dead. I mean, if whoever had it was involved in this conspiracy then surely they'd have known from the outset they were using a dead man's card and would hardly have risked exposing themselves by using it, especially since they couldn't possibly know when he would be discovered.

If we assume Courtney is the killer, why would she kill him twice? Are we saying she found him overdosing on heroine and shot him? Or that she held him at gun point and forced him to inject himself and then shot him? Think about it. Tom Grant claims that she was upset over the fact that Kurt was more successful than her. WRONG! Courtney's first album was more successful than Nirvana's first album. Courtney Love was involved with film before she even met Kurt. She had already made a name for herself. Even during and after Kurt's death she was getting bigger and bigger. Courtney originally started her career as an actress with bit parts in Alex Cox films, most notably Sid and Nancy, but turned her focus to music and moved to Los Angeles in 1989 where she formed Hole.  She would later gain recognition as an actress for her award-nominated performance in The People vs. Larry Flynt, and continued to occasionally star in films. Tom Grant can go fuck himself. As for idiots around the globe forcing their opinion that Kurt Cobain wrote Hole's album, "Live Through This," I'm afraid they're dead wrong. Hole and Nirvana both sounded a lot a like and I'm sure since the two of them spent so much time together, Kurt's style may of rubbed off a little on Hole. Courtney's song lyrics are often told from a female's point of view, and her earlier work, particularly on Hole's first two albums, was noted for being aggressive and highly critical toward cultural definitions of women and their roles in society. Common themes and references present in Love's earlier lyrics (particularly those on Pretty on the Inside and Live Through This) include body image, rape, suicide, misogyny, conformity, elitism, pregnancy, prostitution, and death.

Lets take a closer look at Kurt Cobain's history. Throughout most of his life, he suffered from chronic bronchitis and intense physical pain due to an undiagnosed chronic stomach condition. Kurt Cobain's cousin Beverly, a nurse, claimed Kurt was diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder as a child, and bipolar disorder as an adult. She also brought attention to the history of suicide, mental illness and alcoholism in the Cobain family, noting two of her uncles who had committed suicide with guns. It's a little ironic, don't ya think? His stomach condition was emotionally debilitating to him, and he intermittently tried to find its cause. None of the many doctors he consulted were able to pinpoint the specific cause. He suffered from an acute self-consciousness and developed a poor body image, due to his low body weight; which was primarily due to malnourishment caused by his stomach condition, poor diet (attested to by numerous doctors), or a combination of both. Because of this, his heroine use worsened. His friends and bandmates claimed he often looked pale and suffered from withdrawals.

It would take so much time and energy to go over everything about this situation and unfortunately, that's something I do not have. I'll have to keep adding more and more information little by little. My hands start to cramp  after a while. I just don't understand why we can't put this assumption to bed? Because that's all it is, an assumption by people who dislike Courtney Love. I guess everyone is going to have their own opinion just like I have myself. You know what I think about people who still suffer from delusions that Courtney Love was involved? The same way I think about whatever douchenozzle Jesus freak wrote this page about Kurt Cobain being a Devil Worshiper. You can visit the website HERE!!!!@#$%^ Complete and utter stupidity. And that's all I have to say about that...for now. RIP Kurt Cobain! One last fuck you to Tom Grant!
